Ceratozamia lattifolia  (Wide Leaf Mexican Sago)  This cycad is more upright than the C. mexicana and stays full. The new fronds flush out with a beautiful brick red color.

Ceratozamia mexicana  (Mexican Horn Cone)  A gorgeous cycad with fronds up to 6', very tropical in appearance, prefers light shade.

Cycas revoluta  (King Sago)  Another long used cycad, suitable for container or landscape. We have a large selection of mature sexed plants both field and container.

Cycas rumphii  (Queen Sago, Circinalis)  An old favorite, sun or shade.

Cycas taiwaniana  (Prince Sago)  A new introduction in the trade, quite rare in habitat. Could be thought of as an intermediate form of the other two Cycas species we sell. Likes to be in the ground.

Dioon edule  (Chamal)  Tough as nails doesn't get tall, tends to clump. This Cycad can tolerate full sun and the harshest of conditions.

Dioon mejiae    A beautiful Dioon which is quite spectacular when it flushes its new fronds, prefers filtered light or shade to look its best.

Dioon spinulosum  (Giant Dioon)  A beautiful Dioon which gets quite tall. Prefers filtered light or shade, will not tolerate frost.

Encephalartos ferox    A specimen cycad from Mozambique. This plant is characterized by dark blue/green leaves with holly-like points as well as attractive orange cones. A "must have" for the serious landscape.

Macrozamia mooreii    A beautiful specimen of dramatic scale. Quite durable to frost, needs sun and drainage.

Zamia maritima  (Cardboard Palm)  Popular landscape plant that is extremely forgiving. Tends to clump more than grow upright. Prefers sun and good drainage.

Zamia pumila  (Coontie)**  Our native cycad, tough as nails, must be dry for best results. There are geographical variants of leaf size and width.

Zamia Vazquezii (fisherii) formerly known as Zamia fisherii    Often confused as a fern upon initial inspection. Prefers some filtered light and good drainage. Leaf miner is a problem.
